What can we say about these two? French-speaking, faces full of smiles, dead set English legends who we can’t wait to see again when we return to Europe!
We still pinch ourselves at how lucky we are to have crossed paths with Sophie and Jackson and to have been welcomed into their world. And not just welcomed in a ‘make yourself comfortable’ kind of way. We mean welcomed in a ‘come and drink french cider and eat crepes with us and all of our loved ones before the wedding’, in a ‘we’ve organised for you to stay in a villa with our school friends’, ‘here’s your seat at the table for the reception’, and a ‘let’s catch up and have more cider after the wedding’ kind of way.
If the speeches in the film alone don’t speak to you about how loving, caring, wonderful and selfless these two are then hopefully the above helps you to understand why these guys mean so much to us.
Thanks to the two of you for sharing your stories with us and just for having us in Saint-Lunaire with you and your epic friends and super hilarious and amazing families. It’s rare to meet two such genuinely lovely people, let alone for those two people to find each other at such a young age and experience so much of life together, and we’re just so happy we got a small glimpse into your world (and next year Europe 2018 the cider is on us)!
Xx Andrew + Grace
So below is just a few snaps we took on the beach as we explored Saint-Lunaire’s stunning little waterfront a few days before the wedding. We’re so over the moon that this was the first part of France either of us had ever been to, because it was one of the more beautiful places we experienced throughout Europe (and a great introductory to France, especially with the welcome we got from Sophie + Jackson). The first shot is of Jackson’s family home (where all the wedding feasting and late night boogying took place), and the rest is just us two dorks hanging out on the sand 😉
